My Story!

Hi! I’m Ally and the proud owner of Bloom and Bean! I have been living in Michigan my whole life and knew coffee was my passion sense I was 14.

Although this sounds cheesy (and it might be). I walked into a café in Key West FL and ever sense then my thoughts have been consumed by the vibe, details, and reasons behind a cup of coffee.

At only 14 I had many years of leaning and school left before I could ever create something on my own. During this time I worked in customer service, cafes, etc. to learn as much as I could!

I have been lucky enough to travel to different coffee reigns like Africa and Central America to learn more about the art of coffee and the immense amount of details and time put into growing a single bean. Did you know it takes 4 years to harvest one coffee plant!

Graduating high school in 2025, I skipped going to a big university and took the leap of faith to open Bloom and Bean. My amazing family has helped build this business and I could not be more grateful!

Coffee to me is about slowing down and also building community.

The complex art that coffee is- is something unlike anything else. The process to grow, roast, grind, and brew takes so much time and detail. Slowing down and enjoying an amazing cup of coffee that has been through so many hands and so many processes is amazing!

People and farms from Africa or South America growing your beans- then sending them across the country to be roasted - to cafes brewing them! Coffee brings the world together and I am lucky enough to be the one serving it!
